Hid Fog Lamps 2003 Gmc Serria

I have DDM 55w6000k HID retro kit in my truck. I would like to do the fogs in a 35w5000k HID kit. Does anyone have HIDs in their fogs? How do you like them? What brand and kit did you buy? I need to replace my fog lamp housing as it its. I broke it out 4X4ing and ran it over, oops. I was just thinking about buying 2 new "after market" Chiwanese replacements. Does anyone like PIAA make a fog lamp that fits the stock mounting location?

 

They need to be realigned. They are sweet when the both light.

Im running DDM 35W 8000ks in the fogs. I love em so far. I haven't had too much fog to deal with but I love the look and their pretty bright. I haven't had any issues with the housing. I have no idea about the other things you brought up but I'm sure someone else on the forum will chime in.

What bulbs are you using? I'm not sure what kind to order to fit my fogs. Are those 8000k very purple?
