3" PA Body lift

I am looking into adding a 3" body lift as an alternative to buying a suspension lift (new baby = no money).  How have you guys handled the brackets on the front bumper that show after the lift?  Do you cut them off or cut the plastic?

Are you referring to the tow hooks sticking through the air dam.  Some people trim the air dam for it, some take out the tow hooks altogether, or you can take off the air dam.  With the way the tow hooks install I don't think you can fab new brackets.  Just my opinion.

i am talking about the support brackets that are sitting behind the bumper that when lifted sit right where the tow hooks were.  Just wondering if they are required or can they be cut off?

I've heard about people cutting them off without problem.
