Final Lift Questions

so after searching online for what seems like forever, talking to alot of people, and saving unheard of amounts of money i could spend on beer i have finally decided to get the 6in bds suspension kit. the truck is a 96 chev k1500 that i bought used. i have some questions though

1 do i need to upgrade and buy the leaf springs as well? the truck has 150,000 miles on it.

2 are the upgraded shocks worth the extra money?

3 do i need the stainless steel brake lines?

4 does the steering stabilizer help and if so do i need the single or double kit? i plan on running 35x12.5r18 on the six inch and will most likely add a 3inch body lift with bigger tires later on

5 i think im going to go with the black xd series diesel wheels. any thoughts on those

6 and finally what is an good looking aggressive tires that has good road manners and long life

any help/suggestions is very much appreciated

I agree with james. Also add the ATZ's to the tire list.

Cannot rule out the Pro-comp Xtreme A/Ts The amount of tread depth and aggressiveness/offroad capability combined with the very reasonal expectation of 50K mileage is pretty hard to beat. (saying this from my own personal experience)

would it be worth getting the single now then upgrading to the double when i add lift it will most likely be a year or two before i add the extra few inches

that works. also you can't go wrong with either tire. both the bfg's and toyo's should see 50k miles.
