I need to vent.

Ok.  I finally got moved into a new room on Monday.  No more noise, and no more filth.  I moved into a room in a suite with a good friend who is an RA, so it was just gonna be me and him in the suite, both with our own room.

The problem was that someone else was still iving in the room I had to move to, but he was suppose to move this week, no big deal.  I could handle having a roommate for one or two more days.

Well, now this guy has decided that he didn't like me moving in there, and he also wants a single room.  My friend, the RA, doesn't like the guy and requested that I be moved into the suite if they filled it at all (usually the RA gets his own room but this floor doesn't have an RA room so he gets a room in a suite which may or may not be filled).

This guy called his daddy and told him that I moved in and now he had to move some of his stuff, they are making him move when he doesn't want to, and the RA is harrassing him.  He wasn't even supposed to be in this room to begin with, he's only there because he ratted on his old suitemate who is under age for beer and the guy threatened to kill him so he had to be moved.  They've bent over backward to help in by giving him a single since the first few weeks of last semester for free.  Now he's mad because they are moving him back to a regular room.

His dad called the president of the school, because this guy doesn't even have the guts to talk to me, the RA, or the RD about the problem.  Now nobody is allowed to have that room, they're going to leave it open in case of another emergency.  So I have to move AGAIN!!!!!

I've been living out of boxes for a week waiting to move, then I finally get moved unpack half my stuff, I couldn't unpack it all because he didn't want to move all his stuff, and now I have to pack it back up tomorrow and move again.

He does too, though.  And he tried to sit in our room tonight and talk to me.  I just played guitar as loud as I could over his TV (which is on my desk) and over his phone conversation.  Then I left.  Looks like I'll be sleeping in the Blazer tonight.  If it weren't for this computer lab, I'd be lost, I don't even have enough room to setup my PC.

Anyway, sorry this was so long, I just needed to vent to somebody.

HE'S A FLAMIN' FAIRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What makes it worse is he even said he might drop out this weekend because he's going somewhere else next year anyway.  He may have cost me the room I wanted on the ground floor right before he dropped out.  Then I'll be even more pi$$ed off.

Good idea, since he called his Daddy, I should just call my Big Brother and have him come up here and beat him up for me.  ;)  :D

Well, if Tom's line is busy you could always ring up Jp.  He's on the verge of roommate homicide himself and would probably be more than happy to come down and throw that Sally Boy around.  You just might have to do the same for Jp in return -  :D

Well, I'm gone for the evening.  I've got an 8:00 class in the morning, so it's off to the Blazer to ry and get some sleep.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to get back in the computer lab tomorrow or maybe I'll get time to get on Becky's compter like I am now.  Night all.

Boy you better believe it.  Sorry to say this Elwood, but in a way I'm kind of glad to hear that.  It means I'm not the only one about to punt some kid's sorry butt back to the stone age.  As we speak my roommate is having his nightly three hour phone call to his GF in Boston, speaking in that whiny little Boston accent making fun of the fact I like to drink beer and look at good looking women.  But I won't get started on that, really, I won't.

I know exactly what you mean!  Sure I'd like to move out, but then I hear these guys stories and it makes me so glad I don't have to put up with any of this crap.  LOL

I hope both of you guys can get back to a normal life at some point during the semester.  And Jp, I'm gonna find a way to send you that case of beer, just to piss your roommate off.

I'm trying to take my dad's advice.  Get things going with this girl and sit in my room and drink beer together, two things that drive my roommate up the wall, beer and hot chicks.

My little bro is livin' in a Blazer, down by the river!  LOL  (I can't back that up, I don't really know if there is a river nearby. :D )

I hope things get sorted out soon for you Willard (my nickname for him), and we do still have jets on alert!  :D

    • You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
    • Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.
    • Thanks for posting, I'm sure it will help someone
    • New to diesel trucks. I happened to find my oil cooler leaking oil externally with only 4,000 miles on the truck. I didn’t realize this was an issue until I started researching it. Dealer is going to replace it under warranty but I’m wondering if there’s anything GM is working on to fix this issue. I’ve heard the oil filter used is the same as they use on their V6 motors and that’s what is causing the problems. Should I switch to a bigger filter or keep using the OEM recommended?
    • So, GMCustomerService:  Judging by the Update History pictured above, is this truck missing any updates that it actually needs. If it's just for the infotainment system, the radio is working fine and no trouble with SeriusXM. and Android Auto is working fine wirelessly with my phone. Some months ago, an update notice was sent to my truck. I approved the update and it finished saying that the update was successful, but it seems that whatever that update was, it didn't actually get installed - at least not if I'm to go by the Update History shown above.   So, again, are there any updates that this truck really should have? I've checked with my dealer but they're reluctant or commit to anything and if I want them to check, they require a $200.00 fee just to check it out and then I'd have to pay for the actual update(s).    Ignorance is bliss, and if none of the updates goes to fixing any mechanical discrepancies, I'll just leave things as is.
