Newbie In Nj. 91 Chevy

Just picked up my 3rd GM truck in my lifetime a 91 Chevy 1500 reg cab long bed. I would like to do some basic mantenance on my truck to last me thru the winter into the summer next year. Truck has a lot of rust on it and it squeaks when going around the corner. I would like to replace the body bushings under the cab. How hard is this to do? Any DIY write ups or suggestion to make this easy?

 

Also, on this forum is there any ledger what the short hand means. For example, "SBC" would be small block chevy but what does "bagged" "obs" ..etc mean?

Bagged means it has air bag suspension and can lift and raise itself with compressed air......etc. OBS = old body style, that's gmt-400 or 88-98. NBS is gmt-800, or 99-2006. NNBS=gmt-900, or 2007-present.

No. We don't use the terms nbs and nnbs terms here. Its gmt800 and gmt900.... 2007.5 trucks are gmt900s, not "new new body styles" (quite possibly one of the dumbest acronyms ever).

My point = he asked what they stood for and I told him. I see many people here using those terms, they may not be logical to use, but they're used anyway.

Does OP mean old person? So no such thing as a 4th generation truck or 5th? My truck then is a gmt800. Thank u. any ideas or suggestion on replacing my body bushings?
