What Is This Wire?

theres a large plastic tube wrapped in tin foil behind my front driver's side tire, what the hell is it?

It is a wiring harness. I think it feeds the fuel pump and taillights, but I would have to get under my truck and look.

i was leaning towards some sort of harness, just curious the dealer stretched mine quite a bit from its factory spot so i wanted to make sure it was a fuel line or somethen

That's a seriously dense wiring harness. I'm kind of pissed off with how close to the tire the thing is mounted (I have a 2wd). I might re-wrap mine here in a while because it's starting to pick up some stone knicks.

It is the rear chassis harness and unless you go off road and somehow spike a half of a tree trunk up in there, which will cause much more damage in itself, you have no worries of damaging that harness.
