Abs And Parking Dash Lights Flash Once With 3 "dings"

I am trying to figure out what's going on with my 2005 GMC Sierra. A while back (maybe a year to 18 months ago) I started getting this warning of some kind on the dash. It involves the ABS and Parking lights flashing on for less than a second accompanied by three "dings", and then it all goes away. This happens when the truck is in gear, whether you are moving or not. It doesn't happen all that often, and doesn't seem to affect driving at all. I haven't noticed any changes in braking, the brake fluid is about 3/4 full (corresponding to pad wear), and the parking brake seems to work just fine.

Can someone explain what this is supposed to indicate? Thanks in advance for your help.

the ABS and parking brake light are used together for an ABS fault ,if the lights stay on then you have a DTC in the EBCM ,other than that your complaint sounds weird and makes no sense, may be someone else will chime in ...

You have an ABS fault of some sort. Get the system checked for dtc's and if there are none, verify good power and ground supplies to the ebcm. Lots of ground issues on these trucks for the ABS module (ebcm) that can cause the

same concern.

BTW, check your front hub bearings for excessive play also. Could be a loose bearing causing an intermittent wheel speed sensor dtc to set due to excessive bearing play.
