Gibson Headers?

Hey guys,

 

I am about to order some headers, or should I?

 

 

Are they worth it? Will they work well with the Magnaflow Cat back system?

 

IF so, should I go with gibson? Or anyone else like something better?

Banks headers for mine, probably in the spring.

I put JBA headers on my 03 Silverado SS 6.0 and I had magnaflow exhaust. The only thing that I noticed was the exhaust got a little deeper. As far as anything noticable, I would say no............Now I am not saying that you wouldnt see any improvement on a Dyno because you will probably gain a few HP and a little Torque.

 

I think if you are looking to blow some money than go ahead but you are probably not gonna get the results that you are thinking.

If you're looking for performance, shorties aren't worth the money. Either keep the stock manifolds, or go with some longtubes.

 

If you just want something shiny, then go for the shorties.

I had Gibson SS shorties on my 03 truck, no gains to be had, I only put them on because they were offered to me at a dirt cheap price.
