Suggestions Of What To Do Next

Hey guys,

This is my truck and I've been wanting to change up somethings for a while. What would be your suggestions of what to do next? I have considered OE black textured flares, nfab style steps, splash guards? I currently have the tonneau off and a toolbox in my truck. Thanks.

You need some meats!

It will be time for some new tires soon, going to likely go with 285 70 r17's, no mtrs, but perhaps toyo or nitto at? I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Side note, where in LA are you located?

Fender flares (body color), get that brush guard, rear bumper, grille insert, lower air dam and roof rack painted body color (add chip guard for durability), body color the mirrors and door handles, add full width diamond plate tool box, 2" suspension lift, 18" wheels (polished or chrome alum) with 285 tires (something with some meat. Nitto mud grapplers or BFG KM2's). Get rid of the body side moldings too. You could keep all the black stuff now and add black flares, if you need to save some money, but I like the looks of body color stuff, myself. If you're going with an AT tire, I suggest the Michelin LTX AT/2's. Have a set of 265/70's on my 17" wheels like yours and love them. This coming from a life long BFG AT fan too.

I definitely like the idea of colormatching everything, but I use this truck and it gets worked and the bumpers/grille guard have scratches and I like the black and the ease of touchup etc. Thats kind of my driving factor behind the textured black flares too...do ya'll think they would look alright on that truck if I left it as is?

That's why I always add chip guard to anything that's been painted. Chips and scratches are no more.

If I went with flares, I'd go with smooth black. Easy to touch up with semi-gloss Dura-Color spray paint.

Get an 06 hood. They are taller and give a little more aggressive look. If its legal, change to amber drl bulbs.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, it is a 06. But, it's hidden by that guard, so it doesn't really matter.

It is an 06, so I've got the HD hood already, and I do have Amber DRL's, I don't think they show up in any of those pictures though. Thanks for the input.
