Lighting

I took my 02 silverado to a friends house to instal new radio. Connected all the wires to the same ones the previous radio was connected to but now my cluster lights don't turn on at all nor do my hvac control lights. I checked all the fusses and they are all good, I checked all the bulbs and all of them are good. I don't know wher to go from there is there anybody that can help me with that?

typically, from what I've been told, this is caused by a short that fried the dimmer switch for the dash lights. Good luck

I swaped out the dimmer for a new one and it fixed my problem. The diimmer cost me 66 dollars but it fixed my dilema thanks for the help I greatly appreciate it.
