Suburban Center Seat?

I was looking at the GM site, and they show a 40/20/40 bench option for the Suburban. In the description, it says "Lockable Storage Compartments in Seat Cushion (includes Auxillary Power Outlet)". Has anyone seen this seat, possibly have photos of the storage, and know if it can be put into a 1500 as a replacement for the center seat (part number)?

Interesting but I think that would suck to sit there with the slt/suv dash.

Im confused. Sounds the same as the 1500 center seat.. Unless you have a WT you should have the storage compartment too.

Yes, you can swap an LT center seat into a W/T.

 

The bottom locks & has an auxiliary plug.

 

The top has 3 cup holders, the top storage doesn't lock.

 

My W/T didn't have a harness for the auxiliary plug, so I had to wire it myself.

 

You should be able to get a seat on E-Bay for $200-300 (dealer cost is about $600).

The 2010 and up have 2 Cup Holders and an Open Storage Cubby instead of the 3 Cup Holders and Closed Storage. Does the part come as one assembled part, or is it a bottom seat and the seat back separate? I'll look for part numbers to see if I can find out. Does anyone have a photo by chance?

Only the WTs.. You will find the console your looking for in the SLEs / LTs
