School Me On Wheels-- Gmc Vs Chevy

I am looking to get some different rims to update the look of the '04 Avy that I just got. Basically just so it's a little different from the other 300 Avy's in my town. I'm not much for aftermarket wheels, looking for OEM but just a newer model.

 

So I figure I am looking for 6 bolts on 5.5 centers (140mm), 17" x 7.5" wide. (I don't want to upsize, the 17" suits me just fine). Shouldn't pretty much any GM truck wheels from 99-2010 fit the bill?

 

For example, I found this on Ebay:

Specs on it look good, it fits all the GMC models, but when I enter the 04' Avy into their little fitment guide, it says it doesn't fit?

 

What am I missing? Offset?

yup they should fit..

 

that fitment guide is wrong 9 of 10 times for the AV's because the AV's are never included in the database they use.. we are a forgotten model I guess..

 

 

I test fitted my neighbors 2001 17" Suburban Wheels on my 2010 AV.. no issues.. long as it's not a 2500 AV you should be ok.
