Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement

It seems i have a faulty drivers side actuator on my dual climate controls (06 Sierra SLE) from this posting: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...661&hl=heat

 

Snake referred to a site here: http://chevroletforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22624 which shows a replacement of the actuator - but I cannot figure out what exactly the diagram is referring to - is that underneath? Anyone done this or should I have my indie mechanic do it for me?

Thanks Sparks. I'm getting the max hot max cold only on my dual climate control. Hopefully replacing the left one resolves this issue.
