Thinking about getting some 275/65-18 tires with a 5.5''backspace rim. Wheel is 18x9.

Will this rub? stock height

it shows 32"x10.8" so should be fine. Just do a 2" rc level and be done with it. They look like crap without it.

I dont think you are going to like that small of a tire on aftermarket wheels. It will look like crap.

I disagree, I have that size tire on my Moto Metals with 4.5" backspacing and they look fine in my opinion, but you know what they say about opinions.......

They rubbed a lot on my truck without the leveling kit by the way.

My summer tires are 275/65/18 on Stock All Terrain 18"s. I have a 1.5" RC leveling kit and no rubbing problems. If your going for a modes look its real nice. My truck looks pretty stock with them...until it's parked next to something that really is stock. I wish I had pics after I put them on this fall but I can't seem to find any.

Hey onntn87,

Now that you have the leveling kit, do your Moto Metals with 4.5" of backspace fit without rubbing, or did you still have to trim?

thanks for the help!

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if these Pro Comp 6001's will fit my 08 Z71 Silverado with just a leveling kit? In either a 17" wheel or an 18" wheel. Anyone have any feedback for me? Thanks.

They only rub everyone once and a while backing up at full lock on my mudflaps. If I didn't have those, or had ones different than the GM molded ones, they wouldn't rub at all. When I need new tires I'm going to slap on the RC 1.25" body lift and get some 285/65/18 tires, but that won't be for a while.

Do you have any pics on your truck with the moto mteal 957's you can post. Also, can you post some pics of the tires in the wheel wells?

Thanks!
