Toyota is all about safety!

Available on all Toyotas

I hate these lame names auto manufactures give their technologies, trying to win the public over.

Honda had "safety for everyone" by 2005, but now Toyota claims that they were "first"... even though they are ~5 yrs late. Go figure...

All this safety shit, they're just trying to fix their reputation. If people would be a little smarter about driving and know a little bit more about how their cars work, there wouldn't be any of this.

I drove and Acura RL with that "Smart Stop" (actually I think Honda calls it accident mitigation system) and an E-Class MBZ with it..

no thank you, don't need HAL or K.I.T.T. deciding when I need to brake.. first time that retarded system kicked in it scared the crap out of me, and I was on a test drive attempting to force it to activate.. imagine if I wasn't expecting it..

this is one of those cases where too much technology is a bad thing.

So I'm guessing in the future, when vehicles will be so bogged down with stopping and driving technology, when something fails and you rear-end somebody because you forgot how to stop, Toyota (or other) foots the bill with insurance right? :D

I just don't see how accidents would be your fault with all the safe technology

THOSE German Blankity Blanks are the WORST when it comes to OVERSTUFFING Safety Technology as well as Creature Comforts that have NO USEFULNESS and then Charging an arm, a leg, your left Nut (Or Ovary), and your Firstborn when it BREAKS!

Because they foot the bill now when you die when the airbag fails to save your life? Or when you slide into a pole because of ice despite your anti-lock brakes?
