2000 k2500 kicks outa od between 45 n60 on a grade flat road never misses a beat.yep its 7.4.man its drivin me nuts.anybody go thru this?

Doesnt sound like any problems. I assume it is a 4l80? Does it fell like it is slipping, or just normal shifting

 

Load?

Grade percent?

no load, just any hill,410s and wont go back into od unless you shut it off

You have to shut off the truck to get your OD to work again? Have you tried pulling codes yet?

dont have acess to code reader unfortunately.have you heard of this issue?

Most auto stores (Autozone/O'Rielly/Napa) will loan you the code scanner for free.

 

The 4L80 has this issue in the H-1 also. Various items are the cause like TCM, TCC solenoid, and fuse link by the battery.
