Power Steering Pump Squeaking

Past month or so had a squeak (or chirp chirp chirp) under the hood that's progressively become worse. I replaced both tensioner pulleys and the idler pulley to no avail, so I decided to apply my unparalleled acumen and problem solving skills and put a force on each pulley (pushing toward the engine block) with my thumb in various placed, and when I touched the center of the PS pump, on the center part that the pulley is pressed onto (I'm assuming that's how it's designed, the rest of 'em I've messed with were that way) the chirping went away. Release pressure, and chirping progressively came back. Have any of y'all seen/heard of this problem? Is there a quick fix, or am I going to be forced to replace the PS pump?
