Im Confused

I need some help figuring this out. I decided to get some Silverstar Bulbs for my Reverse Lights. I looked them up on Sylvania's Website and it said the bulb number was 921. So I got them and went to put them in and their not even close to being the same thing as the stock ones. The stock ones are like whats in for the Tail Light and Brake Light bulbs which is 3047. Even Autozones website says the Reverse Lights take a 921, but there is no way they will work I already tried. Anyone know what the deal is? I put them in the Cargo Light instead, and they are really bright, but I still want brighter ones for the Reverse Lights. Heres a link to the stock ones and the ones it calls for:

I have searched for the LED version of this bulb before to no avail. Closest was the 3157 and I could get not solid answer on whether it would work or not so I didn't try it.

I just bought some Silverstar Reverse Bulbs in 3157 and they work. They are the same thing as a 3047.

The LED equivalent for the 3047 is the 3157. The bases are the same, but there must be a wattage different and of course that doesn't matter if you are switching to LEDs. I saw that the Sylvania website was messed up a while back and it still hasn't been fixed. as far as I can tell most of the bulbs are right that I have run into.
