I'm An Avid Chevy Guy And Gm Tech

Well I heard about this on a different forum, and after a little looking around I think I can get and give some help. I'm always wondering what can be done that we don't typically do at work, and it looks like a lot of you guys are figuring out how to work around good old GM's money making schemes modding your trucks. I have been working at a local Chevy dealership here in Columbus Ohio for a couple years now, but have been an ASE master tech for a while now, 3-4 years. I'm just one of those people who really eat, sleep, and live cars. From hanging out on car forums, to working on them all day, and modding and racing my own toys.

For the last few years I've been heavily modding my 2002 Camaro, I built a forged bottom end 6.0L LQ4 with nitrous, custom built 4L60/4000 stall converter, and put in a Moser 9" rear end, all finally coming together last year in the form of 10.65 at 126 in the 1320. Since this project is slowing down I picked up a basic 2010 Silverado 4.3L when they went on sale in the fall. It is just the WT, but I picked up a take off chrome grill and wheel covers to dress it up a little. Now the bug is starting to get me and I need to make the truck my own. So hopefully we can help each other out since I'm not really a newb to this type stuff, but I could use ideas and such.

Here's a pic of my stuff, taken the week I bought the truck.

That chrome grill really adds to the truck.... So would body- matched front bumper ;)

And welcome, I'm sure your knowledge will be invaluable here!
