Gauge Mounting

Recommended Posts

I just installed a ride rite air compressor kit in my truck and didnt want to use the cheesy bracket they sent. So i decided to get creative with mounting it, but wasnt sure which avenue to take. I was limited on space since i have a full center console in my truck, so i mounted it in the das beside the heater controls with a custon made abs mount. Dont have pics yet but will post some. Also wanna see how you others have mounted your gauge and switch for the ride rite systems.......

Ive always used the Autometer guage pillar pods. I like em, and you can acees the back of the pillar easily. It also makes checking them easy with them up in the field of view.

Dang some of ya'll are brutal on here..give a guy some slack, not everyone has a digital camera readily available....but i did happen to snap a picture of where i mounted my gauge and switch. The backer panel it mounted on i cut out from an old DeWalt tool case i had layin around, just cleaned it up and hit it with black paint.
