Check Engine Light - Again!

My wife drove the truck today and when she got home she said that the CEL was on. I pulled the code and it's the one for the purge solenoid valve. This makes it five times that it has come on now. 4 valves, a new gas cap, and two dealers later it has come back. I am in Korea so my lucky wife gets to take the truck in to have it repaired yet again. Someone who is smarter than me on this please chime in and shed some light on this. What components besides the valve and a gas cap can cause this type of indication? The last time, the dealer did a pressure test on the gas cap and said that it had a small leak and they thought they had finally solved it. The four times prior to that, they replaced the purge solenoid valve. The truck is still under warranty, but it is getting to be a little bit ridiculous. I try to be a very patient person, but I am seriously considering pursuing the lemon laws if it can't be resolved this time around. Everything on the truck engine wise has been stock since the first time the CEL came on. Prior to that, I had a Black Bear tune, but I have long ago swapped the stock eng and trans computers back in. Thanks guys.

Make sure she isn't over filling the tank. When the pump shuts off stop, done, no more.

My truck had a broken wire. Maybe your wiring harness was pinched somewhere?

I repaired a 2006 last summer with this problem. Broken wire in the harness.

Ok, I said in the OP that "I" pulled the codes. I am not in the US, so my buddy came over and did it. Because he is an idiot, he didn't actually write down the code, but it is one for the purge solenoid system. I will get him back over ASAP to get the actual code/s and repost.

I had a broken wire right at the connector of the solenoid that caused that. After a whole lot of messing around I learned to check the simple things first.

Simple of course, but I am relying on the trained technician to follow the GM procedure to isolate and fix the problem. Unfortunately, they have not been successful yet.
