I did the debadge a week or 2 ago, took the stickers off today. Cleaned the truck up nice so I figured i would take a few pics.

I think they turned out pretty good except for the drip from the mirror.

Feel free to critique the photos or the truck. I plan on debadging the doors and removing the body moldings. I am waiting untill i get a polisher. The paint actually has quite a few swirls that I plan on correcting.

I was also thinking about tinting the tail lights a little (not dark). but they dont really bother me since i got the stickers off.

I used fishing line and 3M adhesive remover (which I do not like) on the badges. Hair dryer on low and 3m stuff on the stickers. The hair dryer works great and feels really safe. I am gonna try Goo Gone on the rest. I cleaned everything up with some Meg's Ultimate Compound and Auto Glym SRP. then coverred one side in NXT and the other in Gold class. I like the NXT much better.

Still on the agenda:

Window tint

Nice chrome wheels (offset a little wider)

Magnaflow

Line-X

Hitch

And Several hours of paint correction.

Let me know what you think!

Looks Great. How did you remove the rear bowite? Is it bolted on or stuck on with an adhesive. Wanting to remove mine... just unsure how to do it correctly.

The badges just stuck on and come off easy wish fishing line, flossing them off. There are a few threads on it. Used my fingernails and 3M adhesive remover to get the tape residue off. I don't like the 3M Stuff. It works but it is has some serious fumes that gave me a headache and it seems really harsh to be putting on the paint. I will try Goo Gone when I do the doors. I cleaned everything up with some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, by hand and then sealed it.

I will be debadging the doors, including the moldings. I am waiting untill I get my buffer to help with poillishing afterwards. There are a lot of swirls and small scratches on the truck that i would like to correct also.

I would like to get some new wheels. They will be chrome or at least shiny like chrome. No bigger than 18" simple design, with a little wider offset (+12 i think). with Duratracs or Silent Armors. I loved my Silent Armors in the past.

Thanks for the Comments and Compliments.

How did you do the front bowtie? paint? Or did u buy a black one from somewhere?

Just painted it. It doesn't look great if you get real close but it is fine.

looks good. I always like black. Good luck with your wheels decision.

I use a plastic putty knife on some of the larger badges. Works good and won't scratch.

I'm not crazy about getting new wheels. I like the stock ones just fine. Any wider and it will sling more stuff up the side which i deffinitly don't need. If I see something i LOVE, i might go after them.

To get rid of drips, I will take my truck back and forth between my two driveways, defore drying. That gets most of them out...the leaf blower is just another pain in the arse to drag out.

THanks
