No Headlights

A couple of weeks ago I left my truck while running into the gas station and when I came back out only one of my HIDs was on so I figured the bulb was out. Then it started working again so I contacted Spencer and he said it was probably the ballast and how to return it. But everything seemed to be going fine so I let it go because I didn't want to return something that wasn't broken out of consideration for someone trying to run a business.

Then last night I got in the truck to go out and neither headlight is working. I think it is the ballasts but can anyone tell me how to check them? I emailed Spencer and I am sure he will tell me to return them since they seem to have an awesome warranty but has anyone else had issues with ballasts going out after only a year?

I have the Spencer HID with a relay harness. 35W ballasts with 6000K bulbs in a 2009 Sierra.

I know that sometimes if its really cold out the bulbs might have trouble lighting. Not sure where you are or how cold but worth a thought... Only had it happen to me once tho.

Well it has been cold out but my truck is parked in the garage at night. And today it was 65 and still got nothing. Is there a way to check the ballast?
