4l60e 2nd And 3rd Shift Issues.

I apologize if this is a doup post. I found ones close but not quite it.

I just bought a 2002 TrailBlazer Vortec V6 103,000 miles. From day one the shift patterns were odd but it worked. They always seemed delayed and very soft into the next gear under WOT. Normal other wise. It now has 109,000 miles and its done. I have ordered a rebuild kit for it and though I have done many older trannies this is my first "E". Reading the manual its pretty straight forward to rebuild but I would like to make sure the symptoms are mechanical and not electronic while I have it out.

No trouble codes.

Reverse works perfect.

Fluid is full and red. No brown and no burnt odor.

Goes right into 1st fine and thats where it ends. Light exceleration and it will not shift to 2nd. Let off the gas and it returns to idle but if you run it up to 4000rpm and let off it shifts to 2nd until you stop then the same all over. Once in second, same thing let off and it retuns to idle but with no rhyme or reason sometimes if you let off it will goto 3rd but most of the time it will not.

I have done no testing at this point other than checking the codes. Basically Im fishing for electronic issues as the new kit should fix mechanical ones and any others I will see when its apart.
