Refueling Problems

Hey, Guys Just a quick question. The last couple of times I went to fill-up my '09 2500Hd long box at several diffrent gas stations the truck would not take gas with the pump on full-flow ,the handle keeps clicking off. when I restart the flow the best it will do is about 1/3 ,...I slowly increase the flow and it clicks off at half-flow. Atleast 6 or 8 times during a fill-up. I checked for kinked filler hose/tube/vent all is o.k.? There are no codes and the truck runs fine.

Is anyone else having this issue, Ithought there was a post about this but I can't find it ! any help thoughts will be great ! Dave

Mine does the same thing a gas stations with the vapor recovery systems. I just have to hold the nozzle all the way in and at just the right angle.

if you insert the nozzle and pull it out just a tad it should take fuel...common issue

Yep - mine does the same. Gets pretty aggravating. Seems to always happen when I'm in a hurry ...

Sometimes a vent on the tank can have a problem

If it used to fill up fine and this problem just developed there is a vent problem.

Mine has done this from day one. 57 miles on the clock when it first happened.
