Turn Signal Problem

2003 1500 Silverado As I sit in a turn lane with either right or left signal on, it will just stop flashing. It doesn't stick on, it just stops. Moving the lever normally doesn't get it going again, but finessing it slightly without fully engaging it usually gets it going again.

 

Do you think it is the flasher or the switch? It's $100 either way, but I'd rather be right the first time.
