I'm looking to put some 305/55/20's on my silverado, and in the rear i have those thicker solid rubber mudflaps i got from GM which offer great protection. But i'm now curious and wondering if there will be a clearance issue since there a bit thicker the the molded GM mudflaps once i add the 33's.

any info is appreciated...

Im running 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Graps on my 07 Sierra with a 3"BL and 2.5 spacers and I still rub a bit. I trimmed the plastic and I think I'ma cut a little corner of the metal too cause it gets annoying as hell. My wheels have a -12mm offset(I think) maybe -10mm, dont really remember. I'll post some pics tomorrow and show you. I was warned on here about rubbing, but I did it anyways. F$%K IT! Just back and forward a few times or eat the curb when you can and its all good. About the mudflaps idk though.

Yeah i'm the same as you regarding the front i can make the minor rubbing work, i'm thinking of the rear with the thick mudflaps i'm running if there will be a clearance issue. What kinda rear clearance do you have from tire to fenders. on the rear. i guess the question now is what kind of offset people are using my local dealer is putting 20's on silverado's with an offset of +30 which seems kind of odd.

i've got a 2.25" lift in the front which is the same the dealer is doing, i'm going to use the same wheel and tire setup there using with the +30 offset. I've looked at the trucks there and there dosen't seem to be much rubbing or clearance issues. with a back spacing of 6 1/8". i just want to make sure everything is good before i spend the money.

so they are fitting 305/55R20 with just a 2.25" level kit?

I doubt that very seriously.

Its not gonna fit..there are plenty of people that have tried running that setup and it hasnt worked..

A lot of folks are doing this. They just end up having to trim stuff to make it work...

We are aware of this, but cutting metal out of the fenders to fit the tires is the same thing as saying, "they don't fit with just a leveling kit." The fact is that those tires do not fit with JUST a leveling kit.
