Got The Chevy Back

from the shop where i took it in for some transmission work, runs great, now it has a leak at the transfer case and where the drive shaft enters in, called the shop that did the work , told them i could bring it by, he said just have some one near you go ahead and put a seal in it :lol::lol::lol: , say wha...t

 

all they did was remove the drive shaft :lol: , oh, ok.

 

 

 

its at the Dealership now, should have went to the dealership 1st time, oh well; :lol:

That sounds crappy. Did you ask if he was going to cover the cost for the other shop to put the seal in? Nothing wrong with going to the dealer or an independent shop. The hard part is finding a really good one. Good luck.

i always always always go to the dealer for my work, for one i know the guys there and they are quite good to me, second if the work done fails it is backed by a small warranty and third if i get piss poor work done i call the pencil pushers....i've had nothing but good experiences going to a dealer

SouthCo, jro909, thanks for the advice, think i will be stickin to the dealership, i have found some reputable independents ,its just this time , just was'ent ethical :)
