2001 5.3l Thermostat Problem

I changed my thermostat and inlet housing on my 2001 z-71 with 5.3L. I was putting the two bolts back in and one of the bolts felt a little weird going in but I didn't think much of it but as I was tightening it the bolt broke. I got part of the bolt out except the part that is stuck in the threaded part that goes into the engine.

 

Any suggestions what to do? I am afraid when under pressure it will leak.

replace what ever that piece is ,thats it !!

Best I can tell the piece to replace will be the engine block. The bolt goes in and snapped off maybe about a quarter of an inch is remaining in there. I don't really know how I can extract it out.

actually bolts in to the water pump replace that replace your problem

Drill through the bolt and use and easyout, or if your lucky try a left cutting drill bit, it may bite in and spin it out.
