Bad Whistle In Left Rear Speaker

kay guys so it just started two days ago, it sounds like a turbo whistle coming out of my left rear speaker and it go away when i shut the radio off but when the seat belt chime comes on the the whistle starts again! what in the world could it be?

would this be covered under warranty? is it easy to change myself if its not covered and roughly what would the cost be?

Should be covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. Unless you have a lot of miles, it will be covered, assuming you did not cause the failure and they can prove it. If you have changed speakers, you will want to address that issue, and make sure they are the proper impedence.

truck is a 2009 with 20,000kms and i do have the rear speaker outputs hooked up to my amps but the subs work great. weve bought 5 truck in past 2 yearrs from this dealer so they should take care of me i hope.
