No Tail Pipes

So this idea crossed my mind the other day, I thought about getting a couple sweet talker bottles and just cut my tail pipes off and muffler then i will just weld them up to the existing pipe with 6"-12" of pipe leaving the bottle. So my question is, has any one done something similar and ran without any tailpipes. I heard the odd truck, but not often had it and it seemed ok.

mine had ALOT of drone without pipes.without pipes youll get a good amount of drone.I got tired of mine and recently got 2 1/2 stainless steel duals.Personally it sounds way better

did you have bottles on it? or a highflow muffler?
