3.5 Combo Kit And 275/70/18

I have a 2" fabtech leveling kit and want to throw on either the rc 1.25" body lift or the zone 1.5". I'm sure the extra .25" is irrelevant, but I was wondering if i could clear 275/70/18 trail grapplers on stock wheels with the set up- I know I will need wheel spacers as well. They are roughly 33.2 by 10.8. Does anyone see any problems with this set up? Do I maybe need to step up to a 2.5" leveling kit as well? All advice and feed back will be much appreciated.

Nittos run larger than some of the others and they list that tire at 33.62 x 11.10. The stockers will save you some headache, but wheel spacers won't help you, and aren't needed. I'd go with a 3" body lift, or expect to cut a lot.

Should I look to use another 275/70/18? one that lists closer to 33.2?

The cooper 275/60/20 fit with just a 2" leveling kit. So do the BFG A/T in 275/70/18.

Like Blackout said if the tires run large it will rub some. A friend of mine had 275/65/20 in Nitto Terra and they didn't rub, but he bought the truck that way so maybe someone trimmed.

I found that the mickey thompson atz/mtz's list at 33.4, and so does the toyo open country. WIll this .2 of height make any difference? I'm not afraid of trimming plastic but that's all I want to touch. If anyone has another tire size for an 18 inch rim that will work please let me know, I am already running 285/65 on a leveling kit with zero issues.

Do you have any issues with rubbing?

p.s. your truck looks great I am definitely going for your set up if I can find a tire size thats close to yours

No rubbing issues now, I had some rubbing on my OEM mudflaps with just the leveling kit, which is why I chose to add the 1.25 bodylift. I did not want to remove my flaps. I also felt that the tire looked "stuffed" in the front. I had a guy think it was a 2500 not a 1500.

I would consider getting different wheels. My dad is running 275/70/18 Cooper Zeon LTZ's on a set of Centerline wheels with +6 offset and a 2" leveling it, and it rubbed ever so slightly on the mudflap screws, so we replaced it with a rivet and now all is well again.

If you want some pics, let me know

I appreciate it, However I really want to keep my stock wheels, I have the all terrain wheels and I feel it would be a waste of money to get different wheels when I already have nice ones, I'll sacrifice tire size before I change my wheels.

Your wheels aren't the issue at all. The factory backspacing will always allow for larger tires. Keep your wheels, get the tires you want, and get a 3" body lift.
