Paint Issues (z71 Appearance Package)

Truck is a 2009 Silverado crew cab with the Z71 appearance package.

 

The paint on the inside of the driver's door handle recently bubbled up and a small section came off.

 

Has anyone else had this problem with the appearance package?

 

Plan to visit the local dealer when I return from this deployment for a fix.

I don't see where the appearance package would have anything to do with that, but either way it's a paint defect that would be covered under the 3yr/ 36,000 mile B2B warranty
