Hello All,

 

Wondering if anyone has any info on a steering wheel upgrade. I have a base model 05 Silverado and want to add steering wheel controls. Wondering if this is actually possible? Are the wiring harnesses the same from the factory if the truck was built as a base model or a model with all the options? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

use the search function, you will find tons of threads about it.

 

i'm not sure about the GMT800 trucks, but the steering wheel upgrade is plug and play for GMT900 trucks.
