Driveline Slack?

Hi!!! I'm new to this site so any feedback would be greatly appreciated! When I come up to a stop sign and decide to do a roll stop instead of fully stopping....when I get back on the gas, it feels like its spinning for a couple seconds and then decides to grab. Not sure what this problem is. Maybe transmission slip, driveline slack, or something else. The truck is a 2008 silverado 4x4 ext cab and is still young. (64200kms) It would still be covered under warranty....but for some reason its not either of those problems, dealer will make me pay for looking at it. Just tryin to get some ideas and see if anyone else has encountered this problem. Thanks guys for your information!

Jeff

Welcome to the site! It could be driveline slack, which is very typical of GM trucks. You can drop the rear drive shaft and pack the slip yoke spline with some grease to take up some of the slack and see if it comes back. if so, then maybe a trip to the dealership is in order.
