Who cares?  I only have one engine under my hood and as it stands, no Dodge has a comprable gas engine to compete with it.

Dodge can f**kin go to ####! :angry:  They still suck and people that buy those piece of worthless s**t can say good-bye to good gas mileage anyway.     I said I am a Chevy Guy for life and I am sticking to it.  People that buy that truck or think about buying it have lost their minds.  Dodge always has transmission trouble so I can never trust them.  GM's are worth the money and Ford and Dodge are not.

I'm with you...I'll always drive a Chevy...we have fords and dodges at the shop and I just like the Chevvy's the best..next ford, then in a very distant 3rd Dodge...  Merle Haggard says it in his song "Are the good times really over" He's Ford and Chevy kinda guy..

That's why a Dodge Viper with 500HP only beat the Z06 by 2 tenths in the quarter...not to mention when you get in the twisties as the Viper is in the wall...that's all due to the superior prowess of the Dodge Motor sports team.....lol:jester: And for 85,000 the Viper is a sound investment versus 50,000 for the Vette with the additional 35,000 I'll take the Vette to Lingenfelter and let it rock.  But Hey that's just my opinion.

Typical, schmipical! False hopes and dreams?  That's a pile of S**t if you ask me.  GM takes time because they know what they are doing.  You want to talk about tranny problems lets talk.  Dodge needs stickshift just to get the full power and torque out of engines and that sucks.  Fords have the most annoying transmissions I have ever heard of.  I was in an F-150 once and all I could hear was the d*mn tranny.  Ford and Dodge always like to rush things.  That is why they break fast and have so many recalls.

And don't tell me "Well Dodge could put that same motor in a 3/4 ton 4x4" cause as of now it hasn't happened.

 

So therefore it's still irrelevant.  If I owned a Lightning and made that comment, that's a different story.

My 1500 is much more of a truck than nopars 1500. So what if I only got a 6.0L. It may be able to out run me, but I never wanted a truck to race. Can it out pull my 1500? I am not even wasting my time Looking at dodges spec.  This hemi crap is not the old hemi. My 1500 is a nice ride  more than any Dodge and I would put it right next to a 3/4 ton dodge with the 5.7(I hate saying 5.7 in Dodge).  My over all package is much better than the dodge 1500 and prpbably the 2500. Ending with a BIG A$$ PERIOD. CMN and my duramx buddies have the v10 and Cummins took care of.  Not saying Dodge has a bad truck, they are  just are weak. The Nopar 1500 is more like a car, my 1500 is truck all the way. And I have FOUR FULL doors. The new Mayor is a drunken fool.
