Nutty A/c

Recommended Posts

its 107 degrees, 100% humidity here so i went and turned my a/c while i was loading the bed of my truck and it sounded like a gunshot when the compressor kicked on and it sounded like gas leaking from a canister from inside the cab...then when i put it in gear and began to move it kept jolting like the a/c clutch was unlocking/locking quickly...needless to say it was normal on the highways, ice cold just in town or coasting around..is it because it had to work overtime to deal with that kinda of temp?
