Does the 8.1 vortec in a 2001 3/4 ton Yukun XL have E.R.G. on the stock exhuast manifold? Do I need to get headers with or without air injection?

With air i think has a bong for the o2.without you have to drill a hole and put the o2 sensor in thats what i did.instead of paying 225 for flowtech headers i paid 130 and drilled the hole myself.
