centex Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I just bought the rims in the title and would like any help from anyone with experience from these rims regarding what socket extension they used for the deep holes and if I can use my stock lug nuts from 06' GMC sierra 1500? Thanks
ruggedlife Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 you cannot use stock lug nuts on any aftermarket wheel with very very very very few exceptions. if you get a set of spline drive lug nuts you'll be able to get to all the lug nuts no problem

I need a 7/8 or 22mm thin wall deep socket but the local oreillys doesn't carry any. Any one know where I can get one ?
SparkySparks Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Sears maybe, seems my last set of sockets had one. Craftsman 7/8 in. Socket, 12 pt. Deep Craftsman 7/8 in. Socket, 6 pt. Deep Craftsman 22mm Socket, 12 pt.

You buy the spline drive lug nuts and they will come with the correct socket to torque them on. They are also like a "key" so that other people cant just remove the wheels with a tire iron. Look on ebay for spline drive lug nut set.. best prices by far.
