Is the phone set to transfer as a USB mass storage device when you plug it in? What music file types are on it?

They are Mp3s.... I have changed it from disk drive setting to a music sync...turned my debugging on and off...still with no luck.

i read somewhere in a thread that you have to format the drive with FAT32 and that will solve the problem, but then you have to put all your tunes back on the device.

Can you explain this a little bit more or do you have a link? I'm not sure how to go about doing this.

I believe you have to format your SD card. That is where the music is usually stored. You will probably have to copy all the info on your card to a folder in your computer, format the SD card to FAT32, and then send all the information back to your SD card. I hope that works for you. Before you format your SD card, try it on another card. That way if it doesn't work, you don't have to worry about deleting stuff on your main SD card.
