Dash Inserts.....

Ive got an 07 sierra slt with wood grain on the dash and doors but the silver around the radio... Can you replace it with the wood grain and if so where would you get that piece?

Dealer.. there are several "wood" colors/designs/patterns, you will need to find one that matches yours and get the VIN from that truck..

 

Avalanche LTZ, Suburban LTZ, Tahoe LTZ, Yukon SLE (I think) all have the "wood" crap around the radio bezel..

 

 

hell if yours looks like mine I'll trade you, I want the Silver.

i think thats the same... ill have to go check. Im sure that they just snap in "i think"... how would i go about gettin it off?

they snap in, but the clips are TIGHT.

 

I use a plastic putty knife to get behind it on the passenger side and spread the part away from the dash, then get my hand behind it and pull..

 

the top clip (dead center top) is the hardest one to remove, be very careful because the plastic up there is then, just wedge your hand behind it and pull, but don't let it bend.
