'05 Suburban Nav Acting Up

Hi,

I have a new (to me) 2005 Suburban Z71 w/ the Bose system and rear entertainment system in it. While driving to and from lunch, I noticed the unit ,which was off, would intermittently flash the white screen with the bowtie and bose on it like when you first start the truck and then it would go away almost as if there was a bad connection somewhere. The strange part is that the clock would still be displayed in the lower right hand corner the entire time. This would lead me to believe that there is not a power issue like a blown fuse or something like that. I also tried pushing the power button to see if the unit would power on and it would not. Can anyone offer some good advice as to why this is happening and what could be causing it? I need to change the oil, plugs, and do other maintenance tonight so I plan on pulling the surround off of the dash and taking the unit out to see if there just happens to be a connector that has come loose. I'd appreciate any help I can get before I dig into this problem thisevening. Thanks guys!

Okay, got to analyzing the issue again since I haven't had a chance to tear into the dash. The whole unit appears to be losing power. Ground or one of the connectors in the back of the unit???
