Lr4 To Lq9 Swap

I am going to be ordering parts for the swap soon. The truck has 103k on it. I know I will also be going to electric fans and the wider radiator. I also will be adding a tranny cooler, and headers. i may also add a 4L65E.

 

Besides the injectors, what else will not transfer over from the 4.8 to the 6.0

are you getting a complete 6L long block with ECM and harness?

no. a reman. from valve covers to oil pan. i talked with Justin at Black Bear. he said he can re tune my factory ecm

Once i start buying parts and doing the build ill post pics and prices. i lnow the engine is about $2100 and the tranny is about $1300
