P0446 indicates problem with the Vent Valve.

I would remove, clean out & bench test before spending money on new unit.

Remove valve. Blow it out (in case there's any crud therein). Hook up to a 12V power supply (it's a simple solenoid valve - either open or closed).

Blow through it energized / de-energized; it should blow "free" de-energized & "block" airflow when energized.

So true! I had the code and the check engine light.

I just disconnected/reconnected the elec. plug checked for

crud in the tube connections and cleared the code.

 

The part is less than $30 bucks and can be found at most parts houses.

Be aware some dealers will try and sell you the $200 relocate kit and

solenoid instead of the $30 solenoid.
