Castol Oil

Have you guys ever used the castrol 5w30 extended life in your trucks? I usually buy my oil at walmart cause its cheap and i always used castrol 5w30 with every truck i owned. Well they were sold out so i tried the extended life and my truck is hating it. My lifters are chattering quite abit now, oil is dripping from my oil pan drain bolt and my oil filter to. Everything is sealed right up to. Beats me.

i use to run castrol gtx in my old truck...i diden't find it to be too great, came out black as coal and i found i had increased oil consumption with it(it burned)

 

i switched to mobil products just on a gamble and i can't be any happier, i put about 3k on per oil change and the the oil comes out the way it went in, clean as a whistle(it was dark the first few changes when i got the truck) the motor is quiet for the most part minus the normal vortec noises..buying cheap isen't always good, everybody has their brand of oil thats works well for them..i know a guy that has run valvoline since the truck was new and the truck has well over 500k on it now with nothing but a mild oil burn off(nissan mid size)
