2004 Chevy Recirculating Door Problems

I replaced the actuator for the recirculating door on my 2004 Silverado. Now when i turn on the recirculation button the door will not open. But when you push it open, it will stay open completely for a few seconds then close again.

 

Does anyone know why its doing this?
