Brake Caliper Swap

I have a 2001 SIlverado ext, cab Z71 1500 and would like to put some 2500 calipers on it. What year would fit? Or is there more to it than a quick swap? Sorry if this question has been asked before.

My truck only has a single piston caliper not the dual. Do the newer 1500's have dual pistons? Either way I need something with more stopping power. Its the only thing stopping it from being a perfect truck

Im stupid I do have the 2piston front I must have been thinking of my work car I just got done changing. After working on the truck I did notice a stuck piston. Just going to go buy a rebuilt one. Thanx for the help
