Installed Pioneer Mvh-p8200bt

Had this from my last truck and got it put in. Used the PAC-OS4 and PAC-SWIPS. Everything was pretty straight forward. Had to cut out the back of the opening so the unit would fit. Stuffing the OS4 and SWI was a bit of a pain. I chose to use the pioneers bluetooth instead of the trucks. I also have the pioneer xm receiver. If you use this buy this cable to interface with the xm receiver and use the factory antenna (http://www.myradiostore.com/p/gm-single.html). It'll save you from having to cut the plastic fitting on the factory cable and there's really no place to put the receiver with the length of the factory cable anyway. Overall i love this unit, only drawback is the front usb port instead of being in the rear. I'm going to get a longer black iPod cable so i can route it to the glovebox and have the iPod locked up.

Looks good! The dash kit also seems to be a close match. I had a hard time finding out that looked ok in the Double Din size. How was hooking up the Os-4?

dash kit matches very well, i can't tell any difference. OS4 was fine, its pretty self explanatory. To keep factory xm you have to get a head unit that has component inputs (red and white input) which i've never seen. I'm sure there is one though. Factory bluetooth worked fine but it cuts the unit off or something when a call comes in so i opted to use pioneer's bluetooth. Probably the biggest pain was programming the steering wheel buttons. took a few trys.
