There are conflicting values for the towing receiver on the 2500 Suburban/Yukon XL. The owners manual says :

 

Vehicle Series Hitch Type

Maximum Tongue

Weight

2500 Weight Carrying 453 kg (1,000 lbs)

2500 Weight Distributing 680 kg (1,500 lbs)

 

There is a sticker on the frame/bumper/receiver on every one I have looked at that says 600 weight carrying and 1000 with weight distribution. What is correct?
