Service 4wd On The Message Center

Need some help,

 

I have a 2006 silverado 1500 4WD Hybrid. When I have the 2WD selected on the switch inside the truck, I get the service 4WD. I went to the dealer and they cleaned some connection and cleared the code Shortly after I left the message came on again. It doesn't seem to be related to the weather because it was a sunny day. When I have it selected to Auto 4WD, 4WD HI or 4WD LO I don't get any messages. I have been driving in AUTO 4WD for months and nothing happen, about a week ago I tried 2WD and the message came back.

Most likely the switch is bad... very common.

it has to be scanned again, switch code is C02725 i believe,....

 

what code did he find ?....all info please Marc

First time the code was C0327 and they replaced the "spo trans switch,seal and insulator" That did not fix it, the next time they clean the connector they did not put the code on my bill. One thing I forgot to mention is when I use it on 2WD, on occasion, it will switch me to 4WD LO. I'm back to driving it on AUTO 4WD. On 2WD I get the service 4WD, could I get the code with a ODB code reader or do I have to go to the dealer?

as long as it can scan the TCCM

 

and they didnt give the code ?????????????

 

i was a gm tech for many yrs ....something smells alittle ....off
